Taste the cup of Death and seek Life

Credit: Shonali Dey

I seek life.

I taste the nectar of death.

I stroke my lip to it.

It smears slowly.

Reaching my intimate senses.

It is sensual.

It slowly spreads to the soul.

Every inch of my body

touches death.

I reach the altar.

It’s existence.

An illusion.

I flirt.

It’s the jar of life.

Lip touching the nectar.

Call it death, you may!

For Heaven starts from it.

It’s not the end!!!

Madness.

Trance Dance.

Ecstatic Joy.

Enamouring me

She is my lover,

takes me into her abode.

Playful as she gets,

passionate as she consumes me.

It’s the real deal.

Drawing me to its sugary taste.

Dip into the nectar of death.

Fear not death.

It’s life.

Celebrate it with full vigor and passion.
