100 Words on Saturday: ‘the greatest love of all’

Hey folks, I am participating in 100 Words on Saturday 2014 #8 :   ‘the greatest love of all’ hosted by writetribe.com. Hope you liking it and looking forward to honest feedback.

With Love

V

100 WORDS

‘the greatest love of all’

Love of a mother for her child as the child reciprocates the feeling;

Lovers pulling strings to grow old together;

Love of citizens for their country on the Independence Day;

Heart that grow close together and love unconditionally;

Our love and attachment and bondage to a place, person or family,

why do we need to call it ‘the greatest love of all’?

Why give a name to relationships that we built over the years?

Love is all about growing up and reaching a stage of self-elevation?

A child staying faraway from parents doesn’t mean love has diminished;

Feel the ‘Love’.

Author:

Work-in-progress, seeker, and bundle of contradictions. Stubborn and Refusal to grow up and constantly in search of myself, I blurt it out on my space. Drop in and share some love. Indian!!!

  1. “Why give a name to relationships that we built over the years?” … wah! that’s a question to ponder… 🙂

      1. correct as the great one says … “sirf ahsaas hai yeh rooh se mehsus karo, pyar ko pyar hi rehne do koi naam na do”

    1. Thanks a ton, Sugandha. I feel one should grow in love and life and believe in the whole concept of free love. Being positive is what makes us beings full of love and the vibes should be felt within:)

    1. I believe family is very important to us, Kajal and we can never pay back their love. I also feel that love shouldn’t impede growth and even if we stay far away from our loved ones, it doesn’t diminish our love for them. Thanks a ton:)

    1. Thanks a ton. What matters in life is self-elevation and staying faraway from families doesn’t mean we love them less. I feel love should not be diluted my attachment. It’s LOVE. That’s what matters the most. Btw, is Trisha okay to call u and have shed Sharmi coz u don’t like? hehe

  2. Interesting Vishal. But, calling love the greatest does not diminish other forms of love in any way. At each stage, different loves can take precedence 🙂

    1. So well and beautifully said, Shailaja..love doesn’t diminish other form of love..pure and bliss. Do you think a son or daughter can stay away from parents? What about passion and happiness? Love should act as a binding factor and not a clash. We should rise in love:)

  3. Wow ! Kudos to the positivism bubbling here , Vishal 🙂 Loved it !
    Hearts that grow close together, loving unconditionally…. aah, loved this the most. How painful, yet how very beautiful ! 🙂

    1. Me too! I am a child staying far away from the heart. But, I honestly believe that love should not be an impediment for our growth as human beings and happiness. Like for instance, I am planning to move out but mom will stay alone. But, that doesn’t mean I don’t love mom and don’t wanna priorities or self growth clash with love and affection. Would love to hear ur views:)

  4. We do give labels for a lot of things in life and like to define them — sure some loves may not be the greatest but that does not necessarily diminish its worth in any way… 🙂
