Flocking birds

Who drove the flocking birds away?

a barren land,

smeared with patchy mud and thick smoke,

messenger of death,

drought,

where men and women waned away,

trees turned into smithreens,

uprooted civilization,

hope wearing thin,

feathers shivering in fear,

estranged nest,

becoming strangers,

pale shadow,

happy cooing burst,

divine sound coalesced into ghoulish,

monster faces,

amassing wealth,

in name of defense,

weapon armor traded,

nature witnessing calamity,

torn and shred every second,

who shall avenge for this destruction!
