Ladies’ heart

From the Mumbai Diaries, a flash fiction with slice of reality:

The train whooshed at frenetic pace. He sprinted on the platform and hanged on to the door just in time. Relieved that he hopped on the life line in Mumbai, she smiled at him. He smiled back but was bemused that she was still looking at him, with an amused air. He sensed after few minutes that something was wrong. He stood next to the door and didn’t sit in the unoccupied train compartment. He realized that he entered the ladies’ compartment. As the train was slowing down at the next station, he waited to get down when two ladies looked menacingly at him but was relieved when they said with compassion, ‘Get down fast.’

With Love

Work-in-progress, seeker and bundle of contradictions. Stubborn and Refusal to grow up and constantly in search of myself, I blurt it out on my space. Drop in and share some love. Indian by choice.
