FPPS Challenge Day One: The Clock

I’ve been tagged by Madhusmita to take part part in the Five Photos Five Stories (FPFS). The challenge works like that: You post a picture for five consecutive days and attach a post to it, fiction, poem or short write up. It can be anything that suits your taste. I am also tagging my good friend, Maniparna Sen Gupta on Day One, and as part of the challenge, I will tag a new person.

Here you go:

A friend, carrying hope and promises,

it’s reminds us how precious our time is.

Today, it lays cuddle on the sofa to take a good rest.

The clock accompanied us in our daily lives for three years,

till it showed signs of fatigue and weakness.

Today, it is saying I served you tirelessly and like everyone, I need a result.

We woke up, smiling to our clock who gently echoes the time,

in the living room.

We were constantly on our toes,

saying hi to the clock.

The clock needs rest before it leaps on its feet.

Good Morning, it says
