Sandra from Bandra, the heart-breaker

Prancing on her naked feet, her short skirt flew below her knee, the sea breeze and wind flirting with her hair;

She broke the heart of a new lover every day as she rode her bicycle past the church every day;

She stops to bow her head with a smile in front of Jesus and Mother Mary;

Running with her naked feet on the sand at Bandra Bandstand, she dances her way in gay abandon and drenching herself in the cold water;

She got no time for love yet she stops for hours at Mannat, waiting to see a glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan;

A romantic at heart, she loves listening to the poetic songs of Amitabh Bachchan, ‘Mein aur meri tanyahee aksar yeh baatein karte hai.’

Many lovers trail her, she broke many hearts and rejected the proposals of road side romeos coz she is no plain Jane;

Her beautiful heart long for love and silently swoons over the mysterious red roses landing at her door steps;

Her boots and high heels break the concentration of church-going young men giving them false hopes she is the angel offering love;

It’s their illusion. She is a heart-breaker, they say.

You know her! You’ve seen her seductive walks in her white skirt, angelic and wicked smile,

She is Sandra from Bandra.

Work-in-progress, seeker and bundle of contradictions. Stubborn and Refusal to grow up and constantly in search of myself, I blurt it out on my space. Drop in and share some love. Indian by choice.

    1. hehe! See, we have different interpretations and glad you came with this one which I didn’t see. I was trying something light and breezy. Guess, I’ll write another one on this line, as pinpointed by you.
      Fodder for thought:)
