M for Mumbai

A city that never sleeps, thrives on souls that work round the clock and an obsession for most of us. Don’t they say, if you have it in you, you’ll make it in Mumbai?! Maximum City remains a fascination for me, the time I was a student in Pune and dreaming to make it big in Maximum City and, every now and then, would hop on Maximum City to chill out and get a feel of life in Mumbai.

The thrill of traveling to Mumbai made the heart run wild with excitement and, every time I set foot in the city, I feel like jumping with excitement as it was joy without speed limits. Be it shopping at Colaba Causeway-haggling and shopping for cheap stuffs, strolling at CST, Bandra Bandstand-enjoy sitting at Barista with a book and capuccino, Dadar or Andheri-the maddening crowd and the rush is something I absolutely love, Churchgate-chilled out and the way to enjoy soulful evening walks at Marine Drive, Mumbai is an experience in itself.

Today is letter M for the April A to Z Blogging challenge under the theme ‘college memories’ and I shall leave you with pictures for the prompt. Hope you enjoy.

  1. Love this post. How could I not? I’m sure I have a similar pic of Marine Drive 😀

The railway station, how many hours did I spend there? An unreal experience waiting for a night train to Delhi.

And cricket, when we took a local train out of the city, everywhere someone was playing cricket. Amazing.

I loved Mumbai (Bombay back then).

You should have added a pic of the gate. I must find mine.

    • You mean the one at CST? Marine Drive is awesome and it’s was where I was staying so few minutes walk to Marine Drive. Which gate you mean? Churchgate..lol..Mumbai or Bombay,we all love it and what’s in a name?!!! hehe
