I’m back..back with a bang I dunno..I’ve wrapped up my work.Now,at home writing this post before going to sleep for some time..In-between checking the various quizzes on Facebook for fun and business networking I suppose.Reason I Joined Fb to remain in touch with college pals..I need to take a breakf from it coz fb is getting on my head.Practically everybody in this worls seems to be on Fb,be it Rahul Gandhi,Omar Abdullah,Salman Khan,Slb..well for the stars and celebrities dunno whether it’s for real or fake..
Quite fun applications..compare your friends,name tis movie or star,rate ur hotness or ur friends,Friendzil,Are you interested..I used to like Minekey..start a topic be it life philosophy,love,religion or sex or anything you want to..but now not anymore since I blog regularly..My blog is my universe..Mind you Fb can be quite addictive..load ur pics,profile comment and you get people like it and respond to it..Quite fun,I suppose..
So,what is Fb good for?Definitely for networking or if you are into client servicing it helps to interact with clients or discuss about movies..It’s not a bad way to market your blog or write something interesting and give a link..Chatting with friends was never made so simple n easy and I’ve been able to connect with People I knew in school but hardly interacted with..you know..Hi,Hellos and yesterday only was talking to Jaymi,my senior in F.c..Great to know that she’s also into client servicing..I mean in terms of corporate and e-business..
Well,all good things can become quite crappy..Fb gets boring at times and well irritating and you realise you doing nothing but wasting your time on applications,adding people you hardly knows and they adding you..speak of speed dating.Frankly,I have my own reservation about net dating..not appealing though met a couple of girls on blind date but not on fb..well blind date can be quite sexy..but lethal also..what happened to the young Adnan Patwardhan..The 14-year old went on a date and was kidnapped and killed by classmates of his own age.
We are a generation of face book,orkut,hi fhyers..is Fb trying to replace human relationship built over a cup of coffee or book-lovers..Our forefathers cemented relationship which the mightiest were not able to break..Now,no wonder relationships are crumbling under the slightest of press…it’s more net..rather than working it out with love,compassion,comprehension..It’s killing our aspect of human life.Who says Fb et all is not controlling our lives…
Neways,I’m not making a case out here but is intrigued how much life is being controlled and FB is more addictive than booze,alcohol,sex,cigarettes,joint..worse than this and that..But,but it is a good and effective tool of communications..this remind me of something has to talk to koko’s whether there is a need to advertise our Ad Agency,The Works on facebook..If there is “GO Ahead”let’s see how effective fb is as a one stop-shop for the purpose of Marketing..
Right,enough of fb now..let’s change the topic…I’m not yet over watching the classic Scarface on my comp..it’s a long 2hr 50 minutes mafia tale..I really love the way it has been presented ..well Al Pacino is Al Pacino.What an actor man..his postures,mannerism,eyes expression and the way he eyea any object..with Al one’s feel you are a part of his underworld networking..Yes..got to admit it..One of my all-time favopurite movie with my fav hero..Amitabh’s Agneepath has copied Scarface..Scarface highly recommended to students of world cinema..Cinema,acting I believe should be studied closely and in practice no amount of training can help..I mean it helps a great deal but the real thing lies in following closely and if you are a wannabe artist or Director youlearn a heel lot of things on the sets..Well,I know hardly a thing or two about acting bit I was privileged enough to assist Sailesh for his short film at Film Television Institute of India(FTII,PUNE)and Gyanesh as well for Shilpi’s short fil..Gyanesh is a sound enginneer and I have learned man..What is a continuitys heet,how lights and camera should be adjusted but it’s very less.For me acting and everything related to film-making is one of the most creative and innovative field..you need to have balls for that and that’s why I respect People from this field-whether you are into Ads,short film,small budget movies or 70 mm..Cinema transcend all barriers of life..Fils are life,Acting is the epitome of greatness and releasing of positive energy-be it dance,comedy,action or any other forms of creativity.Enjoy and let the magic unfold itself..
